The Composta is an amazing new concept where you grow your plants directly in the composting/wormfarm system.Composta can compost approx 2-3 handfuls of food waste a day once established,this food waste is converted back into an organic plant food that will feed the plants within the pot,making it very easy to use,with no mess or fuss.

Composta is suitable for any type of plants and depending on what you would like to grow eg herbs or flowers depends on where you will setup your Composta..fullsun for herbs or shade for other plants.

And dont forget when you water your Composta the runoff is a active 'alive' liquid fertilizer that can be tipped back on to your Composta or used elsewhere in the garden to feed other plants..

To Complete your Composta system you need;

*1 bag off general purpose potting mix,(Good idea to mix larger material like mulch through your potting mix to bulk it up..approx 30%)

*&  ofcourse whatever plants you would like to grow...you can start with seedlings or even seeds if you are patient enough.

When you have setup your Composta it is a great idea to add,sugar cane mulch ,or crushed brown leaves down the centre,this encourages composting and makes the worms happy too :)
